Why this chili pepper lifts the barbell?
I know some things make us sweat: hot weather, spicy food and doing exercises.
As an Indonesian, I miss having the 12 hours of sunshine all year long and the facility of finding sidewalk food stalls that sell varieties of (very) spicy food that makes you sweat like being in a sauna.
Although I cope with cold weather and lack of spicy food stalls by doing sports regularly and cooking Indonesian dishes at home. I still have a love and hate relationship with 4 season's weather. It's nice to have changes but I still dislike the cold (you see, I don't say that I hate cold). I found CrossFit in 2018 and ever since, as a part of my workout, I learn olympic weightlifting several times a week (I love the fact that as I grow older I manage to lift heavier).
Doing CrossFit changed my life. I have better health, better mood and I stop getting bored with a workout because there is always something new to learn. Having suitable clothes to wear is essential, even better if they look cool. After COVID times, I decided that I want to do something to represent my culture into something that I love.
Sweat Republix is created for you who love cool clothes, for you who wants to discover Indonesian culture/legends/myths and for you who loves to sweat (by eating chili pepper, enjoying the sun or doing exercises).
